Hurrah! School’s out. Six weeks of summer fun and no school run. The calendar on the Delights Kitchen wall is beginning to fill up with swimming lessons, playdates and even a day at the Olympics, for one special girly in our home.
I made this batch of cupcakes for the teachers and staff at Jemimah’s school and Phoebe’s nursery. If you teach my children, you probably are ‘too cool for school’…Plus, this mama is not an ‘apple for the teacher’ kind of chick. The girls have done their thank-you cards and I’m doing the deliveries.
Yesterday was a special day in the Delights household, Phoebe, our youngest, graduated from nursery…Methinks I’ll need more than a batch of cupcakes to say thank-you for teaching Phoebe at the end of next year.
Congratulations Phoebe! Aunt Viv is soooo proud of you!
