I’m so excited to be in the best place on the planet right now. Tonight the Olympics opening ceremony kicks off with the greatest show on earth; and I can’t wait.
The Olympic torch made its way through Islington yesterday. I got my girlies up early, to see the torch relay as it went through Caledonian Road, which is not too far from the Delights Kitchen.

As we waited, there was such a great atmosphere as we chatted to neighbours and waved our flags and cheered…Definitely Londoners at their best.
I made these cupcakes (just for fun, not for sale) to share with family (Team Akinsanya) and friends.
It’s a fantastic time to be in London, because London rocks! Team GB, we know you’ll make us proud.
