Today is Stir-up Sunday. Today’s the day to make your Christmas cake or pudding; as traditionally this is the last Sunday before Advent. I’ve been soaking my raisins, sultanas and prunes in brandy in the Delights Kitchen, for the best part of the year. I cannot wait to lift the lid off that container and bake the family Christmas cake.
You can’t bake any better than with a good old traditional mixing bowl, like this one…Don’t forget your wooden spoon, and give your mixture a good stir.
