We won’t go until we get some

Figgy pudding is a white Christmas pudding containing figs.  It can be boiled, steamed or fried.  This moist pudding dates back to the 16th Century.  It also appeared at the end of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens – at Bob Cratchet’s Christmas table.  Figgy pudding was made even more popular by being included in We wish you a merry Christmas.  This year it might make a refreshing change to your traditional Christmas pudding, as it is equally festive.

You could also try this Figgy Pudding Candle from Wax Lyrical.  With notes of fig, orange, plum, cinnamon, clove and vanilla…Surely this will infuse your home with festive cheer.
