I couldn’t help it. I stepped out for a breath of fresh air and came home with Christmas cards, all ready for 2013 (alright already…they were in the sale).
If you feel like you could have been more prepared for Christmas this year, get yourself a head start for Christmas 2013:
You can make and keep the following for up to a year in advance.
Christmas cake that is un-iced can be frozen – allow at least four hours for it to thaw, when you are ready to use it.
Mincemeat will keep chilled for three months or can be frozen for up to a year.
Three months in advance
Mince pies can be frozen up to three months if uncooked and 6 months if cooked.
