Add some sweetness to someone’s day

Saturday morning is a good time to be in the Delights Kitchen. Once the orders and deliveries have gone out, there is always some left over cake, which we make use of a Saturday teatime or playdates.

My girls are incredibly sweet. When they hear the Postman deliver the post, they always shout ‘thank-you’…

Last Saturday, we had some spare cupcakes, so we thought it would be nice to give the Postman a sneaky, cheeky cupcake (or two). We heard him approach out front door and one of my girls opened the door and handed him a cupcake…You should have seen the smile on his face; I think we made his day. He ate the cupcake, said a heartfelt thank you and continued on his round.

I was out all day on Monday and left home well before today’s post delivery. I opened the front door, my daughter picked up the post and amongst the bills and ‘offers of a lifetime’ was a note from our Postman…
Note from the postman

Sometimes you never know when the little things you do, can add sweetness to someone’s day. Try it sometimes…
