You can’t keep a great cake maker down

Kaylyn McGuyrt

I read this story in the news and Kaylyn McGuyrt has totally inspired me.

After an ATV accident and losing her arm, right-handed  Kaylyn McGuyrt thought her career as a Cake Decorator was over over.  Seven months after her accident, Kaylyn is back at work at Sweet Traditions in Wake Forest, creating and decorating spectacular cakes.

Kaylyn has learnt to use a new robotic prosthetic arm with ‘fingers’ to grip and manipulate items.
